About Just Fabulous in Palm Springs, California

Stephen Monkarsh created Just Fabulous in March 2007 after realizing that downtown Palm Springs needed an upscale gift boutique and book store that showcases some of the best gifts from around the world, while providing a superior level of customer service and personal attention. Just Fabulous offers a wide selection of books, cards, calendars, candles, home décor, art and music.

Stephen explains:  “Opening Just Fabulous was an idea inspired by my mother, Ellen, a beautiful artist who died in November 2006 from cancer. (Her photo is behind the register.)  Mom was young, vibrant, and still had many unfulfilled dreams.  Because of that, I decided to follow my heart and do something I truly love—which is celebrating life, helping people, and being as “fabulous” as one can be!  Ergo, our motto:  Fabulous Gifts for Fabulous People!”

Just Fabulous’ clients expect excellent customer service and desire a “personal shopping experience” where one can find unique and fabulous gifts and greeting cards in less than 10 minutes and without spending a fortune!  Most gifts are priced under $50.  Here are a few examples:

Just Fabulous devotes special sections to its diverse clientele, including a wide array of books on Architecture, Design, Fashion, and Palm Springs; Gay and Lesbian Section; Travel Section; Recovery and Spirituality Section; Novelty Section including funny magnets and books; Pet Section; and more!!  The boutique also offers a wide selection of Magazines that our customers can read in the courtyard while enjoying goodies from Koffi and Café Chocolat!!
