In 2007, Stephen Monkarsh created Just Fabulous, the first “lifestyle” boutique of its kind in beautiful Palm Springs, California. Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto mountains with spectacular views and lovely gardens, Just Fabulous serves as the gateway to the “Uptown Art and Design District” on Palm Canyon Drive. In 2010, Just Fabulous expanded from our humble beginnings in a “mom and pop shop” to our current 2,500 square foot boutique filled with a wide array of carefully selected merchandise. Known for excellent customer service, we strive to provide you with a “just fabulous” experience each time you visit the store. Featuring MoMA Books & Gifts, the Jonathan Adler Collection & Assouline

MoMA – Just Fabulous has one of the largest and most diverse collections of gift books in Southern California, especially coffee table books on Modern Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion, Hollywood Celebrities, as well as Palm Springs Vintage History, Mid-Century Modern Architecture and Design. Each year during Palm Springs Modernism Week, Just Fabulous serves as the official book and gift seller for the Modernism Show and Sale. We are also honored that New York’s Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, recently selected Just Fabulous as the first and only MoMA Books “Shop in Shop” in the USA. As such, our clients in the desert have exclusive access to MoMA’s entire collection of books and gifts!

ASSOULINE – Just Fabulous is also privileged to be one of the few boutiques in the world to partner with Assouline, the famous French publishing house based in Paris, thereby providing our clients with the exquisite books and gifts by one of the most prestigious publishers in the world. We even have limited editions of Assouline’s “Impossible Collection” and other rare specialty books.

JONATHAN ADLER – Once you visit our boutique, you realize that Just Fabulous is much more than a retail store featuring unique gifts, greeting cards, and books. We are a destination for those who wish to celebrate a “Just Fabulous” lifestyle and state of mind. In light of this goal, we have chosen to feature the entire collection of Jonathan Adler furniture, accessories, and gift items in our Palm Springs boutique. For example, Just Fabulous offers the complete line of Jonathan Adler candles, pet accessories, stationery, case goods and lighting fixtures. We believe that Jonathan Adler’s colorful and “happy chic” style exemplifies what it means to have a Just Fabulous lifestyle and state of mind. As such, our clients may choose from the largest selection of Jonathan Adler merchandise in the desert!

Monthly Special Events and Celebrity Book Signing Parties

Our monthly special events and book signing parties distinguish Just Fabulous as well. In addition to a signed book, our customers enjoy the rare opportunity to meet and take a photograph with some of their favorite celebrities. Many celebrity authors have appeared at Just Fabulous, including: Anne Rice, Barbara Eden, Tab Hunter, Leslie Jordan, Stefanie Powers, Dionne Warwick, Mrs. Frank Sinatra, Adrienne Barbeau, Elaine Paige, Michael Childers, Cheryl Crane, Julie Newmar, John Barrowman, Jane Wagner and Lily Tomlin, to name a few.
